2018
Splash is a 5 year old Quarter AQHA registered bay gelding. Splash has done it all from all aspects of ranching to tracking the heelomatic to started tracking live calves on the heel side and and as a breakaway horse. He can also lope through the poles and barrels. He is extremely athletic and will excel at any discipline!!
He is an absolute asset on the ranch, you can sort off him, tie off and doctor anything - steers, bulls, cows/calves, he will hold them all day long, can open and shut gates off him no problem, we have many pics and videos.
He has been to MANY brandings with zero issues in the branding pen, doesn't spook at a thing. He is still young and while you can absolutely let let him sit and get on him, if you do the worst thing he'll sometimes do - if you poke him hard in the belly with your spurs, he will kick out at the poke, he doesn't buck but will kick out at you doing that at times. He's had months off during the winter months while we focus on other sale or young horses and we were able to get on him and doctor a steer and tie off, he had ZERO issue.
He has never had soundness issues, he has strong feet and can go up to the mountains, back in the hills without shoes no problem. We've doubled on him, my kids have rode him, he is a puppy dog to be around. Easy keeper, easy to catch and deal with all around. Gets along with all the other horses, mares or geldings, young or old. Last time me measured him he was 14.3 HH, might break 15 HH but don't let that size fool you he is a thick sh* brick house.

HOT LIL SMARTIE- 2017
Smartie is here at Half Diamond Ranch on consignment. Her owners raised her from a foal you don't want to miss out on this amazing quiet six year old AQHA Mare, she's a big thick lady 15.1 HH.

She is extremely quiet and absolutely ADORES kids, she can handle time off with no funny business when you get back on, she has zero buck or bolt. Rides the best in a hackamore, very light in the mouth.
Would be perfect to help teach your kid to ride then you can head out to check cows or head into the hills on a safe mount! Crosses creek, hobble broke.
Teeth just done; deworming done and was just trimmed.
Put shoes on her in the summer for riding but she doesn't need shoes.

Kali
HANDSOCKS SKIPPER GAL
2020
Kali is a 3 year old Grey AQHA registered mare. She is not only a beautiful grey mare, she has a temperament to die for. She is so friendly, the first to come to you in the field, or in a pen. Easy to catch, easy keeper, easy to trim.
She has 60 days of consistent riding, but been rode bareback more. She currently has front shoes on. She may not have many days of riding but its due to how easy she is, she's been exposed to A LOT. While she has not bucked since the first 2 times she was saddled, she is still young.
She has been hauled to an indoor arena many times, tied while we rope. She has been around chickens, goats, dogs, cats, kids. Even our kids can go catch her and I trust her fully.
We were going to keep her but with this movie strike we have to move some horses to pay bills, although I will not sell her unless its the perfect fit. She is extremely cowy and cady, this horse has heel or breakaway horse written all over her and we planned on keeping her for our kids as she is so amazing to be around and not mare-ish at all. She lives in a pen of geldings and is just a gem and the entire family will be sad to see her go, all the hard work is done, just needs a few more miles. She is already 15 HH, just needs time to fill out now.

Bob
6 Year Old
Bob is a 6 year old Bay roan Grade Quarter Horse gelding. Our daughter named him, and well it suits this low key handsome guy. He is VERY quiet, and well broke. He has ZERO buck in him, strong feet and he can be barefoot year round. He is a very easy keeper with an extremely long mane and tail. He did have an accident when he was a foal and got his neck caught in a bale feeder and so when he turns his head to the right its turns a bit funny. Straight legs, great confirmation, and he has ZERO lameness issues from it and you can NOT notice it when riding, if he didn't have that his price would be significantly more, so price does reflect the blemish, again it does not effect him.
He has been ranched off, has a huge stop, been roped off, started on the heelomatic, been rode in the hills, taken to the mountains. He can absolutely handle time off, and other than paws a bit when tied alone no funny business after months off. Not heard bound when riding, he has been ridden by kids, he has been around goats, chickens, dogs, cats. He is great around other horses, mares or geldings, he is an easy keeper, stands good for his feet to be trimmed, has had shoes in the past, just don't find his feet need them.
Vet checks at your expense are more than welcome. If you are looking for a safe husband or wife horse he is your guy !!
